BASIC DIVER PROGRAM(Scuba diving baptism) in Playa del Carmen

If you have never tried scuba diving, here is your chance! Discover the wonderful underwater world, immerse yourself in the warm waters of the Mayan Riviera and enjoy the experience of flying among our tropical fauna. Do not miss this opportunity to discover a new world!

Our group of professionals will explain the necessary theory for the activity, help you perform some diving exercises in very shallow waters, and take you for a stroll on the reef up to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The groups will have a maximum of 4 people per Instructor. The best experience guaranteed, and a free t-shirt!

What you will learn

You will learn the basics skills you need to dive under the direct supervision of an instructor. You will also learn that you can breathe underwater, and if you like to do so, you’ll be able to take the Open Water course. You will practice some basic exercises and safety rules that will lead you to perform a safe and comfortable dive in the waters of Playa del Carmen.

Necesary equipment

• Mask / Fins
• Suit
• Buoyancy control device
• Scuba tank
• A diving regulator to breathe through.
• A weigh system

Course structure and duration

• 45 minutes of theory class
• Break
• Practice of shallow water drills
• Immersion/s in open water up to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

The duration of the dive will be approximately 45 minutes each dive.
