During this course, divers learn how depth affects the body, equipment, and dive planning, while gaining the skills and confidence needed for deeper recreational dives.

- Proper gas management and air consumption at depth
- Understanding nitrogen narcosis and how to recognize its symptoms
- Deep dive safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Use of dive computers and depth-related limits
- Controlled descents and ascents, including safety stops
Course structure
Theory sessions (online or classroom)
3 deep training dives in open water
Maximum training depth: 40 meters / 130 feet
Prerequisites
Minimum age: 15 years
Certification: Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
Good physical health
